News of the week – Municipal Waste loves Dostoyevsky

Highlights

Slime and punishment, Municipal Waste‘s new album, will be released on 23rd June via Nuclear Blast and a new song is already streaming.

Dodsengel is releasing a new album called Interequinox via Debemur Morti on 19th May and a new song is streaming.

A new Shabazz Palaces (ex. Digable Planets) is streaming before the release of Quazarz: Born On A Gangster Star on 14th July via Sub pop.

Iced Earth is planning to release a new album called Incorruptible via Century Media on 16th June and a new song is already online.

A new song from The Acacia Strain is online featuring vocals from the vocalist from Kublai Khan. Gravebloom is scheduled for the 30th May via Rise Records.

An unreleased song from Dr Octagon (Kool Keith, DJ Q Bert, Dan The Automator) is streaming via Hip Hop DX ahead of the vinyl reissue of the seminal first album.

If you are curious, Rex Brown (ex. Pantera bassist) is releasing a new solo album and here is a song from it.

Rapper Killer Mike of Run the Jewels fame is a guest on the new song by Big Boi from Outkast.

Rapper Ja Rule denies any wrong doing after the Fyre festival disaster which left thousands of festival goers stranded on an island in the Bahamas without food, accommodation or any of the things promissed by the festival organizer.

French Black metal legend Arkhon Infaustus are back with a new EP to be released via Debemur Morti.

American Melodic Death metal band, Arsis, is back at work on a new album. In the meantime you can reminisce with this old single.

Pentagram will be performing four US shows without vocalist Bobby Liebing, possibly because of the addictive nature of the man.

Paradise Lost is recording a new album that they promise will be « slower, sludgier and more doom filled than ever before. Eight riff laden monster tracks of sheer Northern misery. » Medusa is planned for the end of the summer via Nuclear Blast.

Converge are recording a new album.

Suffocation will tour Europe in August and Lambgoat has the full schedule.

Music videos

Every Time I Die‘s new video is a tribute to their home town of Buffalo.

Full of Hell has a music video for a song featuring Kurt Ballou (Converge), Lee Buford (The Body) and Nicole Dollanganger.
