News of the week – Korn is still anguished


The Acacia Strain have released a new song from their three way split with Fit for an Autopsy and Thy Art is Murder. The release will be out on 12th August.

A new Touche Amore song from Stage Four is streaming via The PRP. Epitaph will release the album on 16th September.

A new Every Time I Die song is available. Low teens will be out on 23rd September.

A new Bent Life song has surfaced and it’s very good if you want some hard hitting hardcore in your life. Never asked for heaven will come out via Bridge nine on 5th August.

Another song from Ghoul‘s Dungeon bastard album is streaming. The album will see the light of day on 29th July.

Another Withdrawal song is streaming. Never will come out on 14th November via Escapist Records.

Germany’s champion of metalcore, Heaven Shall Burn, are back with a new album called Wanderer. Century Media will release the album on 16th September.

Yet another Ringworm song is streaming. Snake church is coming out on 29th July via Relapse Records.

Live shows

The Persistence Tour 2017 will feature Agnostic Front and Suicidal Tendencies. More bands to be announced.

Terror has cancelled their European tour and appearance at the This is hardcore festival to allow frontman Scott Vogel to heal from some recent surgery he had to go through.

Russian Circles
will be touring in Europe in November with Helen Money but no UK shows announced.

Despised Icon have recorded a live studio video for the release of their new album.

Korn have released a new single and far for being innovative at least it’s decent.

The bread of hate have released a new video.


Slayer songs from their latest album will be adapted as comic books via Dark Horse (Hellboy, the Goon). Eric Powell (The Goon) and Glen Fabry (Preacher‘s cover artist) will provide covers and alternate covers while the artwork will be handled by Guiu Vilanova (Conan the Avenger, Twilight zone) and written by Jon Schnepp (Metalocalypse).
