News of the week – Metallica really needs a cappuccino


A song from Harm Wülf‘s debut called Hijrah is streaming via Cvlt nation before it’s released on Deathwish Inc.

Sect is a power violence band featuring members of bands such as Earth Crisis, Cursed, Catharsis and Fall Out Boy and whose debut will be distributed by Deathwish Inc on 5th August.

A song from Fange‘s first album with their new vocalist, Matthias from Calvaire and Throatruiner record’s boss, is streaming via Cvlt nation. Listen to it right now if you fancy a mix of EyeHateGod and Entombed.

If you want some more sludge, -(16)- is back to take care of that for you with a new song off Lifespan of a moth streaming via Cvlt nation.

Temple Nightside‘s The Hecatomb will be released via Iron Bonehead production and a song is streaming off it via Cvlt nation before the album’s release on 5th August.

LVTNH are a black metal from Belgium with a debut album called Eradiction of nescience streaming via Bandcamp and via Cvlt nation.

Yet another Asphalt Graves song has surfaced. The band features members of Misery Index and ex. members of Gwar and the Black Dahlia Murder and plays exactly what you might expect from this combination of CVs.

Wreckage is a new metalcore band featuring members of It Dies Today and Buried Alive and it’s pretty good. The band’s debut EP will be called Future graves and will be out on 26th Jully via Hotspot Records.

Something is Waiting have a new song streaming via Decibel off their debut album The something is waiting band scheduled for 22nd July via The Path Less Traveled Records.

Eerie, a black and roll band featuring members of Draugar and Alaric, has a new song streaming via Invisible Oranges. Their self-titled debut will come out on 29th July via Tee Pee Records.

Nomad Stones is a new band featuring Adam McGrath (Cave In) and two songs are streaming via Invisible Oranges. The self-titled debuut will be out on 5th August via Brutal Panda.

Ben Barbaud, the Hellfest’s boss, has posted a long message addressing the complains made by the fans about the latest edition of the festival.

Brujeria is releasing a new album via Nuclear Blast and it will be called Pocho Aztlan. The cult band features members of Napalm Death, Carcass and ex members of Fear Factory.

Red Fang‘s new album will be out on 14th October. It was recorded with Ross Robinson (Korn, Glassjaw, Slipknot, At the Drive-In…).

Zao‘s new album will be called The well-intentioned virus.

Metallica are the poster boys for Brioni, a brand of men’s wear. Yes, you read that right. In order to promote it, they have accepted to star in a series of comedic ads and although the ads are supposed to be awkward in a comedic way it’s hard to not to imagine the process being awkward considering the cringe worthy results.
