News of the week – It’s all about the beers


A new song from Lee Dorian‘s (Cathedral, Napalm Death), With the Dead, new band is streaming.

Sludge legends Buzzov-en are getting ready to record a 7″ for Rusty Knuckles. The 7″ should be out for Maryland Deathfest 2016. The band is also planning to record a new full length.

Corrosion of Conformity has released a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd and signed to Nuclear Blast this week.

Brooklyn Vegan is streaming a song from Drift Off‘s (Rosetta, City of Ships, Junius) debut. Their first EP, Modern fear, will be out via Science of silence on October 30th.

Two songs from Unearthly Trance‘s collection of songs released on split, Ouroboros, is streaming via Bandcamp.

The Saddest Landscape has a new song streaming via Washed up emo. Their new album, Darkness forgives, will be out on 23rd October.

Relapse Records is repressing Incantation‘s The infernal storm on deluxe vinyl for 13th November with added liner notes from John McEntee.

A song from the remixed and remastered debut album from Revocation, Empire of the obscene is streaming. The album will be out via Metal Blade with their demo in tow.

A new Twitching Tongues song is streaming via Noisey from the upcoming Disharmony scheduled on October 27th.

Hardcore band Mindset will release a final three songs EP and will disband after doing some more shows. The EP will be out in February via React records.

Dragged into Sunlight and Gnaw their Tongues are now streaming the first track from their collaborative LP. Production duties was handled by Justin K. Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu). The two bands will perform together in London on the 12th February at The Borderline.

Misery Index has covered an old Sepultura songs from Beneath the remains for Decibel Magazine. The song will be available on a flexy sold with next month’s issue.

Ringworm is recording a new album.

The excellent debut EP from death metal band Altarage is streaming via Bandcamp.

French technical death metal band Gorod is streaming their new album, A maze of recycled creeds, via Metal Sucks.

Music videos

Birds in Row has put out another music video for their next release on Deathwish.

Live shows

Gorilla Biscuits, Modern Life is War and Touche Amore will tour together next year as part of the Together festival. A show in London is scheduled at the Electric Ballroom for the 06th March.

Black Tusk is pulling out of their european tour with High on Fire which means they won’t be appearing at Damnation Festival.

You are invited to share an evening with Machine Head during the month of February and March when the band will be touring Europe to perform long solo sets.

Strife will be touring in Europe during the month of June next year with several shows in France but none in Paris or the UK.

Germany’s War from a Harlot’s Mouth‘s last show is now on youtube with a documentary. They might have been classified as deathcore but their latest albums were pointing towards something more complex and it’s a bit sad that they’re now on hiatus.

A trailer for Converge‘s live DVD is online. The DVD can be pre-ordered in various formats before it comes out on 27th November.


Slayer now has it’s own beer but it’s only available in Sweden.

Cannibal Corpse is also releasing it’s own beer, the Amber smashed face.

Next year, you will be able to buy a Rob Zombie pinball machine thanks to Spooky pinball.
