A new Deathrite song is streaming via bandcamp from the forthcoming Revelations of chaos scheduled for 24th July via Prosthetic Records.

Mutoid Man (Converge, Cave In) has a new song online taken from Bleeder. The album is scheduled for the 30th of June via Sargent house.

Darkest Hour will tour in the US with Dead to Fall. Yes, the band everybody made fun of and still saw live because they were touring all the time wants to give it another go. Personally, I appreciate some of their material even if the lead single from their album was frankly ridiculous and stereotypical for the time.

The Rodeo Idiot Engine is back in the studio to record their third album scheduled to come out on Throatruiner.

Rosetta has put a new song online. Quintessential ephemera will be out on June 22nd.

Stereogum has Ken Mode‘s new album, Success, streaming in full.

Abysmal, the new album from the Black Dahlia Murder will come out on September 18th via Metal Blade.

Almost the same name but very different music, although still death metal, Abyssal is getting ready to release an album via Profound Lore. Fans of Portal should pay attention to this band.

Architects is working on a new album and have a new live video in the meantime.

A new Meshuggah album should come out next year.

Live shows

The Atlas Moth has cancelled their European tour.

Clutch will tour the UK in mid November with a London show on the 12 of December at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

The Acacia Strain will open for Northlane and Volumes in Europe. A London show at the O2 Islington Academy is scheduled on the 8 of October. In the meantime, here is some pro live footage of them.

The bill for the Housecore Festival 2 in San Antonio, Texas, has been partially released and I have cried a little when I have seen how many great bands are scheduled to play.


Comedians and actors Eric Andre and Jay Baruchel were interviewed by a local news channel and displayed their knowledge of Korn.
